Jaspermail operates a private newsletter infrastructure service. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with that service. We take privacy seriously and keep data handling to the minimum necessary.

Who this applies to

This policy applies to subscribers who receive newsletters delivered through the Jaspermail platform, and to any person who contacts us directly. Jaspermail is a private service — there are no public-facing sign-up forms or publicly accessible subscriber databases.

Information we hold

Subscriber records on this platform contain only what is needed to deliver email:

• Email address
• Name, if provided at the time of subscription
• Subscription status and date
• Unsubscribe records, to ensure opt-outs are honoured

We do not collect payment information, physical addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal data beyond what is listed above.

How information is used

Subscriber information is used solely to deliver newsletters to people who have requested them, and to process unsubscribe requests. It is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics sold to third parties, or any purpose other than delivery of the specific newsletter a subscriber signed up for.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share subscriber data with third parties. Subscriber lists are private to the individual sender whose newsletter you subscribed to. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, but will always seek to notify affected parties where legally permitted.

Email delivery

Newsletters are delivered via our SMTP infrastructure. Standard email delivery information (IP address, timestamp, delivery status) may be logged by mail servers in the course of delivery. These logs are retained only as long as necessary for deliverability and abuse prevention purposes.

Unsubscribing

Every newsletter delivered through Jaspermail includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe requests are processed immediately and are permanent. We do not send further email to addresses that have unsubscribed.

Data retention

Active subscriber records are retained for as long as a subscription is active. Unsubscribed records are retained only to prevent accidental re-subscription. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Security

Subscriber data is stored on privately operated infrastructure. Access is restricted to authorised personnel only. We use TLS for all email transmission and HTTPS for all web interfaces.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Unsubscribe from any newsletter at any time
